Privacy Policy
This sample policy explains what Jail Crush collects and how it is used in this demonstration build.
Information we collect
Account data (email address, display name, age confirmation), activity data (saved crushes, private notes, saved statuses, recently viewed profiles), and any information you provide when submitting a profile or filing a report.
How we use it
To authenticate you, to display your saved crushes and browsing history back to you, to review submitted profiles, and to investigate reports. We do not sell your data.
Private by default
Your saved crushes, statuses and notes are visible only to you. Jail Crush has no public visitor profiles and no visitor-to-visitor messaging or discovery.
Correspondence
Jail Crush does not transmit, store or read correspondence between you and an incarcerated person. Any letters or approved electronic messages are handled entirely by the correctional institution and its providers.
Data retention and deletion
Account and activity data are kept while your account is active. You can remove individual saved crushes at any time, or contact us to delete your account and associated activity data.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and local storage strictly to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences.
Contact
Questions about privacy can be sent through the Contact page.
